VisneChem is the industrial lime and calcium carbonate solutions brand of Vişne Madencilik A.Ş. The brand brings the group's mining and calcination operation together under a single technical address: every ton shipped is produced in the company's own kilns, from stone won at its own quarries. The commercial identity is new; the production line behind it is not.

That distinction belongs at the top of this page. The production heritage going back to 1952, the February 2025 listing on Borsa Istanbul and the licences of the three facilities all belong to Vişne Madencilik A.Ş.; VisneChem is that company's brand on the product and market side. Every capacity, investment and certification figure below should be read as belonging to the parent company.

The scope of the brand is defined by five product families and sixteen application areas: quicklime, hydrated lime, natural calcium carbonate, aggregate and moisture-gas absorbent. From slag chemistry in steelmaking to the precipitation stage in wastewater treatment, each subject is treated separately, with its own dosing and operating ranges.

What separates one supplier from another is not a name but the measurable structure behind it: nine kilns, 21,000 tons of silo and bunker storage, an own limestone reserve above 97% CaCO₃ purity, and a management system certified to five separate ISO standards. The rest of this page describes that structure.

Production began in 1952 in Bergama, under the name Öztüre Kireç. That accumulation of more than seven decades continues uninterrupted today under Vişne Madencilik A.Ş. The technical claim behind VisneChem rests on exactly that continuity: what stands behind the brand is not a newly assembled supply chain but a kiln line that has been running for decades.

The company has operated within Öztüre Holding since 2010. That same year the Çelemli plant in Yüreğir, Adana came on stream: 5 kilns, 1,250 tons per day, and a fuel preparation unit integrated into the site. Raw petcoke is dried and ground there before being fed to the kilns; keeping fuel preparation on site means calcination temperature does not depend on the variability of externally prepared fuel.

The Çukurova quarry in Ceyhan, Adana followed in 2013, and the Narlı plant in Pazarcık, Kahramanmaraş started up in March 2021. Narlı combines quarry, crushing-screening unit and lime plant in a single integrated structure, with 4 kilns and 1,000 tons per day. A facility-by-facility breakdown is on the our facilities page.

In February 2025 Vişne Madencilik was listed on Borsa Istanbul. On 17 April 2025 the Lime Hydration Plant and Packaging Unit at Narlı was opened, directly enlarging hydrated lime output and bagged dispatch capacity. VisneChem is the industrial-customer-facing side of this matured production base.

1952

1. 1952

   Founding — Bergama

   Production started in Bergama as a small-scale lime quarry under the name Öztüre Kireç.

2. 2010

   Öztüre Holding and the Çelemli plant

   The company joined Öztüre Holding. In the same year the Çelemli plant in Yüreğir, Adana came on stream with 5 kilns and a capacity of 1,250 tons per day.

3. 2013

   The Çukurova quarry

   The quarry in Ceyhan, Adana started operating. Limestone above 97% CaCO₃ purity is won by drilling and blasting and sized in the crushing-screening plant; the kiln stone, aggregate and fill material produced there feed both the group's own kilns and external customers.

4. 2021

   The Narlı plant

   The plant in Pazarcık, Kahramanmaraş — bringing quarry, crushing-screening unit and lime plant under one roof — came on stream in March 2021: 4 kilns, 1,000 tons per day.

5. 2025

   Public offering and hydration plant

   Vişne Madencilik was listed on Borsa Istanbul in February 2025. On 17 April 2025 the Lime Hydration Plant and Packaging Unit at Narlı was opened.

Vişne Madencilik A.Ş. has operated within Öztüre Holding since 2010. The holding structure means that long-payback decisions — from mining licences to kiln investments — are taken under a single capital discipline; the eleven-year sequence of Çelemli (2010), Çukurova (2013) and Narlı (2021) is the result.

The February 2025 listing on Borsa Istanbul added a second layer to that structure: the reporting, audit and public disclosure obligations of a listed company. For an industrial buyer signing a long-term supply contract, this means the supplier's financial and operational data can be verified independently.

VisneChem is the brand layer inside that structure.
